Harlem Hops is a record inspired by the decision to settle home in Harlem and collaborate with brands who were about excellence and community service. Kim, Kevin and Stacey, owners of the 1st craft beer bar in the neighborhood, all attended HBCU’s and shared my vision of bringing the community together through good people, music & taste. The song is self produced and I was fortunate to cast notable jazz musician Keyon Harrold on trumpet and recruit acclaimed Dj, Statik Selektah to provide the scratches.
